Use A4 narrow ruling to trade writing room for page capacity
This template is built for small, controlled handwriting and information-dense notes. Its 6.4 mm rules run across an A4 page inside 19 mm margins. The rendered sheet contains 41 horizontal rules, creating 40 writing bands without reducing the printable margins or changing the standard A4 footprint.

A4 narrow ruling controls the distance between baselines; A4 controls the 210 × 297 mm sheet. Switching to Letter changes the page dimensions, while switching to quarter-inch ruling changes the baseline distance slightly.
