Choosing and using this paper
Cut two true 4 × 6 inch cards from one Letter sheet
Letter describes the carrier sheet: 8.5 × 11 inches. Each finished card is 6 inches wide and 4 inches high (152.4 × 101.6 mm). The default layout fits one column of two cards, separated by 6 mm; it does not produce 3 × 5 cards.
Cutting order
Print a test sheet, trim around each outer rectangular border, then remove the 6 mm strip between the cards. Keep the blade or scissors on the same side of the border for both cards. Leave the remaining sheet outside the borders as waste; do not divide the full Letter sheet in half.
Keep the finished size
Print on Letter at 100% or Actual Size. Measure a card border on the printed proof: it should be 152.4 × 101.6 mm. Fit-to-page changes the finished size. Use heavier paper only if the printer supports its weight and feed path; the preview alone cannot confirm printer compatibility.
Questions about this format
- Why are only two cards shown on Letter?
A 152.4 mm card fits once across a 215.9 mm-wide sheet. Two 101.6 mm-high cards plus the 6 mm gap occupy 209.2 mm vertically. The rest is trimming space.
