Printable Paper Template Editor

Create custom printable paper for school notes, math exercises, bullet journals, handwriting practice and music. Start with a paper template, adjust its layout in the live preview, then download a PDF for printing or a PNG or SVG for digital use.

Choose paper for your task

Customize the page and pattern

Choose a template in the paper menu above, then adjust the controls for that layout. The preview updates as you edit; available settings depend on the paper type.

Paper size, orientation and margins
Choose A4 (210 × 297 mm) or US Letter (8.5 × 11 in), portrait or landscape, and set margins in millimeters or inches to leave room around the pattern.
Ruling and grid spacing
Use college, wide or narrow ruling for lined paper. Change the line or grid spacing for the writing size, diagram or journal layout you need.
Lines, ink and background
Adjust line weight, line color and paper background. On ruled sheets, add or remove the margin line to suit your writing space.

Preview zoom changes only your view. The exported paper keeps the page size and spacing you set.

Download PDF, PNG or SVG

Use “Download PDF” for printing. Open “Share & formats” to export the current paper as PNG or SVG.

PDF
A print-ready file at your chosen paper size. Use PDF when line and grid measurements matter.
PNG
An image for inserting into documents or using in note-taking apps.
SVG
A vector file for resizing or editing in compatible design software.

Use “Save recipe” to reuse your settings in this browser, or “Copy Link” to reopen the same configuration.

Print at the correct size

  1. Open the downloaded PDF, or choose “Print” from “Share & formats”. Match the printer’s paper size and orientation to your editor settings.
  2. Print at 100% or Actual size. Turn off Fit to page so grid spacing and ruled lines retain their intended measurements.
  3. Print one test sheet first. Check the spacing with a ruler and keep the design inside your printer’s printable margins before making multiple copies.
